Apparently there seems to be a big replacement in the first semester and late, but the first semester and the second semester is a short one…. The Museum of this scale does not come frequently, so I want you to cram the session divided. W I went in the previous semester, but I will introduce you because I have a lot of trouble going into the second semester soon.
The main character of this exhibition is Edo fashion, to say the least. The paintings were also designed to understand the fashion and the style of the tip at that time.
Unknown “Dance Figure” ★ Can be seen here.
It is a beautiful picture of six sets depicting the appearance that a woman wearing a small sleeve is dancing as a title. Maybe I’m drawing all the same people. Each small sleeve was different, and in order from the left, it was like a peacock, a Phoenix, a Kojo, a dragon, a dragonfly, a county crane and a geometric pattern. Also, each dance gesture is different and interesting. It was a work with a glossy atmosphere but it is regrettable that a little preservation state is subtle.
Miyagawa-cho “Yukimi baldness figure”
I draw a furisode with a prostitute who wore a baldness. Furisode of the prostitute is the upper body on the boundary of the belt cherry blossoms, the lower body has a pattern of pine needles, the red cloth in the shoulder is curling, and the prostitute is posing that looked back. Beautiful picture! It was a work. Colorful and liking.
Unknown “Black Tei gabion cherry blossom character pattern Katabira”
It is a small sleeve which was the theme of the song which read Yoshino River. It is expressed how a semicircular basket is placed in the flow of a simplified river. The cherry blossoms were drawn on one side and the part of the back had written something with a golden character. I can’t read it, but five kanji characters. The content of the song? It was a make gorgeous and gorgeous small sleeve.
“Beautiful Little Cuckoo”
This is a beautiful picture depicting the prostitute and baldness. Two people are looking up at the sky in the upper left of the screen. I don’t know what’s on the outside of the screen, but I feel like the world is spreading in the picture. The moon? I thought the moon was above my head, and the Bird Little Cuckoo. Was also drawn. In addition, the work that the beauty of the kimono at that time was transmitted well, and the commentary in front of the work was also exhibited a copy of the stationery (sample book of the small sleeve).
The purple Iris is drawn from the sleeve to the lower body part in the light blue Furisode. The iris seems to be in the river, and the white vortex is rolled around the root, and the flow of the river which is cool is felt. Gold and red leaves were drawn on the back. It was a kimono of a refreshing, elegance atmosphere overall.
Haruaki Katsukawa “Standing Figure beauty”
The beautiful woman who wore a purple small sleeve in a white robe looks down the black and white cat which has been sittin’ on the hem, and the cat seems to be holding the hem, and is the beauty? The face was interesting. It was a hair ornament that the other eye went, but I can see how a gorgeous thing used to be in old times.
Utagawa, the head of a beautiful figure ★ Can be seen here.
It is a big picture and is life-size. The woman in black kimono is looking back, and the left hand is concealed in the belt of the check pattern with the hem with the right hand. Maybe you’re talking to someone in the back with a little open mouth with your eyes lifted up? Is it the makeup that the lip is a little blue? It was a work that seemed to glimpse the life of the person at that time by a vivid appearance.
Dyeing crepe Chi Karamatsu pattern Furisode
Since the first half of the eighteenth century, there was a small sleeve called “waist pattern” with a pattern only under the waist, and when the age progressed further, the pattern “students” seems to have become popular. This is a small sleeve that has no pattern only on the hem and as abusive, but it was a vivid purple color except that an orange flower was drawn there. I feel a simple but stylish spirit. It was helpful because I did not know that there was such a fashion obsolete.
The old mountain Teacher’s government
A kimono shop depicting a large house? I thought, but I do not know the actual. There is a woman in a red kimono in the center, and it seems to talk with the woman of left. The women’s kimono in the middle has a showy beauty with a very bright red. In addition, the woman who brings the Makie in the right side is drawn, and the woman wears the brown kimono. This is a kimono of “korin pattern” with the motif of the chrysanthemum drawn by Ogata Korin. The Korin pattern seemed to have become a big boom from Kyoho to the former sentence, and it was considerably popular. The fact that it is drawn up in the work casually thus, it can be heard that it was a fashion that had penetrated considerably.
Jinmon-Dang-jin “Beauty figure” ★ Can be seen here.
It is a beautiful woman wearing a small sleeve of a vine pattern on the somewake of the red and white to the jacket with a small sleeve of kikumaru pattern on a blue ground. It seems to be very colorful and the yuzen pattern. It was like a gesture to put both hands on the Kanzashi, the thickness of the contours, the flowing curves, and the elegant atmosphere. Because there is a memory that saw the work only different from the kimono in the same composition as this, might it be a work that drew the kimono in the main character?
Yellow Cloud “a mirror map”
It is a beautiful picture wearing a small sleeve. The small sleeve depicts the figure of a white six-winged crane flying on a light blue ground. The woman is standing on her back, but she can see a good face with a mirror in her hand. The clothes under the pattern like bamboo leaves were seen from the shoulder to the Crimson ground. Also, on the right side of the screen was a mirror stand, so this is a seam. The appearance of the woman’s dressing was familiar, and it was a lovely, innocent feeling.
In addition, the “template” of the small sleeve that was introduced in the article of the Suntory Museum of Art was exhibited about ten books. It is drawn finely, and you make this?? There was also.
I was able to enjoy it slowly because it was vacant. Especially, it was interesting to have understood the fashion and the preference at that time. (In addition, I saw a stationery and a small sleeve in Suntory Museum which went after this w) I think that it is a hand to see the notice and the pamphlet, and to go to the latter half because I feel that it seems to be interesting late.
